DMT Membranes of  0.20 mm thickness are recommended in soft to very soft soils, due to their higher sensitivity compared to the standard 0.25 mm thick membranes.
The drawback of these DMT Blade membranes is that they are less robust in case of gravel and wear out faster, especially in dense sand.
