Expansion Shell Cable Bolt
Specifications
The Expansion Shell Cable Bolt is a spring-loaded shell that can be automatically set at installation.
The cable shell can be used for the following medium soft to very hard rock applications:
• Pre-stressed cable bolting in large span areas
• Pre-stressed cable bolting in the hanging wall
• Cable lacing anchors and others.

Plain Cable Bolt
Specifications
Cable Bolt
The Plain Cable Bolt is made of grade 1860MPa steel wire/s, which can be designed into a plain cable bolt or a bulbed cable bolt.

Functions
The Cable Bolt provides a higher tensile strength, anti-shearing capacity and incomparable bending capacity, and also prevents the lateral movement of the Strata.

Installation Process
-
The nature of the ground must be assessed.
-
Drill a borehole in the selected location suitable for the bolt diameter and bolt length. The length of the borehole must be 200mm to 500mm shorter than the bolt itself.
-
Attach a breather tube to the full length of the bolt. The breather tube must protrude out about two meters from the hole collar.
-
Attach about one meter of grout tube to the end of the cable bolt with a sufficient tail provided to connect to the grout pump.
-
Insert the cable bolt and seal the hole to eliminate loss of grout when pumping.

Connect the grout tube to the grout pump and place the breather tube into a container of water when pumping starts. You will see that in the water container air bubbles will exhaust from the breather tube. When the hole is completely full of pumped grout the exhausted air bubbles will discontinue.

The Cable Bolt can be tensioned after the grout has cured.

The Cable Bolt is made of grade 1860MPa steel wire/s, which is manufactured into Plain Cable Bolts and Bulbed Cable Bolts.

At the top of the Bulbed Cable Bolt there are three bulbs to reinforce the resin mixing, achieve excellent point anchorage and pretension

The bulbs can be modified in frequency and diameter based on customer’s requirements. The diameter is 21mm~38mm

Plain or Bulbed options are available, bulbs are available at either 0.5m or 1.0m spacing
